EventUAlly Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of EventUAlly, an independently developed application operated by Rajat Deep Singh.

By creating an account or using EventUAlly, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Community Guidelines & Safety Policy.

EventUAlly is currently intended for people 18 years of age or older. Individuals under 18 may not create or use an EventUAlly account.

You must provide reasonably accurate account information and must not impersonate another person.

EventUAlly currently supports sign-in through Google, Apple, GitHub, and Reddit.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of the account or identity-provider account you use to access EventUAlly.

Usernames are subject to availability and community standards. We may restrict or remove a username that impersonates another person, infringes rights, or violates our rules.

EventUAlly provides tools for:

• creating and joining groups;
• creating and managing events;
• discovering eligible public events;
• managing RSVPs;
• suggesting and voting on venues;
• coordinating potluck items;
• communicating in event-specific chat;
• reporting content;
• blocking users;
• managing group membership.

EventUAlly is a coordination platform. It does not organize, supervise, or guarantee the safety of physical gatherings.

Groups and events may have public or private visibility.

Public events may be discoverable through Around You. Public groups are not automatically exposed through a searchable global member directory.

Access may still require joining, invitation, or another applicable access mechanism.

Around You helps users discover eligible public events near a discovery location.

Current discovery limits are:

• Free: 10 km;
• Premium: 100 km.

Around You does not guarantee that every event in an area will appear.

Event chat is restricted to the relevant event and authorized participants. EventUAlly does not provide open one-to-one direct messaging.

Users may edit or delete their own messages subject to moderation controls. Users may reply to messages, report messages, and block users.

Ordinary event chat is automatically deleted 7 days after an event is completed, subject to moderation and legal-retention exceptions.

Users may block other users. Blocking can restrict access to content created or controlled by the blocking user and may result in applicable group or event access being removed.

Removing a block does not automatically restore access.

EventUAlly facilitates connections that may lead to in-person meetings.

You are responsible for deciding whether to attend an event and for taking reasonable precautions.

EventUAlly does not ordinarily conduct criminal background checks and does not guarantee that a user's identity, conduct, or statements are accurate.

Venue information may come from third-party mapping services. EventUAlly does not own or inspect third-party venues.

If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

You must not use EventUAlly to:

• harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate others;
• promote violence or discrimination;
• exploit or sexually abuse minors;
• distribute sexually exploitative material involving minors;
• publish another person's private information without permission;
• conduct scams, fraud, phishing, or deceptive schemes;
• impersonate another person;
• coordinate unlawful or dangerous activity;
• distribute illegal drugs or weapons;
• circumvent security controls or rate limits;
• scrape or harvest information through unauthorized automated means;
• interfere with the operation of EventUAlly.

The Community Guidelines contain additional conduct rules.

You retain ownership of content you submit.

You grant EventUAlly a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, transmit, display, reproduce, and process that content only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, deliver event communications, maintain moderation and security, and preserve applicable shared event continuity.

We do not claim ownership of your content and do not sell your event messages for independent advertising purposes.

Potluck functionality is an organizational tool.

EventUAlly does not prepare, inspect, certify, or guarantee food safety, allergens, hygiene, dietary suitability, or the quality of food or other items brought to events.

Participants are responsible for communicating dietary requirements and handling food safely.

Users can report messages through the in-app reporting functionality.

A report may preserve an immutable snapshot of the reported message.

Group administrators may review reports within their authorized groups. Confirmed violating messages may be masked. Authorized administrators may remove members from their groups.

EventUAlly may also restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, enforce these Terms, protect users, or comply with law.

EventUAlly uses third-party services including authentication providers, Supabase, Railway, Google Places, Google Geocoding, Google Maps, Expo, APNs, and FCM.

Those services are subject to their own terms and policies.

Except for user content, EventUAlly's software, branding, interface, graphics, text, and other original materials belong to Rajat Deep Singh or applicable licensors.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the service except where permitted by law.

EventUAlly is an evolving application. Features may change, be suspended, or be removed.

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EventUAlly is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee:

• that the service will always be available;
• that event or venue information is accurate;
• that another user's identity or statements are accurate;
• that another user is safe or trustworthy;
• that an event will occur as planned.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EventUAlly and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive losses arising from use of the service.

This includes, where legally permitted, losses relating to interactions with other users, attendance at physical events, user content, third-party venues, service interruptions, or third-party services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

You may stop using EventUAlly or delete your account at any time.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, investigate serious violations, protect service security, or comply with law.

We will attempt to address genuine concerns informally where reasonably possible.

Nothing in these Terms removes rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

We may update these Terms as EventUAlly changes.

Material updates will be reflected by updating the Last Updated date and, where appropriate, providing additional notice.
