EventUAlly helps people organize and attend real-world gatherings. These Guidelines establish the standards expected from everyone using the service.

1. Respectful Participation

Users should:

  • communicate respectfully;
  • keep RSVP information reasonably accurate;
  • honor reasonable event commitments;
  • use event chat for event-related coordination;
  • respect personal boundaries;
  • avoid escalating disagreements into harassment.

2. Harassment, Bullying and Stalking

Do not:

  • repeatedly contact someone after they have asked you to stop;
  • threaten or intimidate another user;
  • repeatedly insult or humiliate someone;
  • use group or event information to stalk another person;
  • attempt to monitor another user's movements through EventUAlly.

3. Threats and Violence

Do not threaten physical harm, encourage violence, coordinate violent acts, or organize activities that intentionally create serious safety risks.

Immediate threats should be reported to local emergency services.

4. Hate and Discrimination

Do not attack, dehumanize, or encourage discrimination against people based on characteristics including race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or serious medical conditions.

5. Child Safety

EventUAlly has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation of minors, grooming, or sexual solicitation involving minors.

Accounts involved in serious child-safety violations may be immediately restricted or terminated. Where appropriate or legally required, information may be reported to relevant law-enforcement or child-protection authorities.

6. Sexual Harassment and Explicit Content

EventUAlly is not a dating or adult-content platform.

Do not use EventUAlly for sexual harassment, unsolicited sexual advances, explicit sexual content, sexual exploitation, or non-consensual sexual discussions.

7. Privacy and Doxxing

Do not publish another person's private information without permission.

This includes private phone numbers, home addresses, personal email addresses, financial information, government identification, and other sensitive personal information.

8. Scams, Fraud and Commercial Spam

Do not use EventUAlly for scams, fraud, fake event tickets, phishing, deceptive investment schemes, unsolicited commercial spam, pyramid schemes, or other deceptive commercial activity.

9. Impersonation

Do not pretend to be another person, business, organization, public figure, or EventUAlly user.

10. Illegal and Dangerous Activities

Do not use EventUAlly to organize or promote illegal activities, unlawful drug sales, unlawful weapons distribution, trespassing, violent activity, or dangerous gatherings.

11. Event Chat

Event chat is intended for focused event coordination.

Use it for meeting arrangements, transportation, venue discussions, schedules, questions, and potluck coordination.

Do not use chat for spam, harassment, repeated unwanted messages, or unrelated promotional activity.

Messages are limited to 2,000 characters.

12. Replies and Blocking

Replies should remain relevant to the event conversation.

Do not use replies to bypass another person's boundaries or a block.

If you do not want to interact with another user, use the blocking functionality where available.

13. Real-World Safety

EventUAlly does not supervise physical gatherings.

When meeting people you do not know personally, consider:

1. meeting in a public place;

2. telling someone you trust where you are going;

3. arranging your own transportation;

4. avoiding unnecessary disclosure of your home address;

5. keeping control of your belongings and personal information;

6. leaving if you feel unsafe;

7. contacting local emergency services if you are in immediate danger.

EventUAlly does not ordinarily conduct background checks and does not guarantee that another participant is safe or trustworthy.

14. Reporting

To report a message:

1. Press and hold the message.

2. Select Report.

3. Select the appropriate reason.

4. Add optional details.

5. Submit the report.

Reporting may preserve an immutable snapshot of the message.

15. Moderation

A report may move through statuses such as:

Active → Reported → Under Review → Dismissed / Violation Confirmed

Dismissed: The report is closed and the message remains available according to its current moderation state.

Violation Confirmed: The violating message may be masked across the event chat.

Reporters can view applicable status and outcome through Profile → My Reports.

16. Moderation Evidence

Reported-message snapshots, report information, moderation status, and administrative notes may be retained longer than ordinary event chat when reasonably necessary for safety, investigation, dispute resolution, legal obligations, or legal claims.

A reported message may be temporarily restricted from editing or deletion while under active review.

17. Enforcement

Depending on the circumstances, violations may result in:

  • message masking or removal;
  • removal from a group by an authorized group administrator;
  • feature restrictions;
  • account suspension;
  • account termination;
  • other appropriate protective action.

Actions may depend on the seriousness and context of the violation and applicable law.

18. Appeals

If you believe moderation action was taken incorrectly, contact:
